About Lonnie
Lonnie Harrison has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. In 2011, Lonnie founded Harrison Construction, and specialized in interior finish out work. Under Lonnie’s leadership, Harrison Construction subsequently established a ground-up division.
Since that time, the company has continued to experience a tremendous amount of growth and Lonnie continues to devote his time as both Project Executive and Principal for Harrison Construction. As the Chief Executive Officer, Lonnie focuses on setting direction for company growth and business development.
In addition to his management responsibilities, Lonnie takes a “hands on” approach to marketing by spending time in and out of the office creating and maintaining strong, long-standing relationships with clients.
Before Harrison Construction
Lonnie started in construction framing houses in Illinois, then built houses full-time for a general contractor and for a carpenters’ union.
He moved to Texas in 2000, worked for Beck-Ford Construction in Houston, and then served as a project manager for Cooper General Contractors in Dallas, building for national restaurant accounts. With a general contractor he also spent five years in medical construction.
In 2011 Lonnie and his wife, Mindy, opened Harrison Construction. Restaurant customers he had built for came back to him, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries, then still growing in Texas, was among the first relationships the new company rebuilt.
His story ran on the front page of Dallas/Fort Worth Construction News in June 2019.

As project executive and principal, Lonnie runs every Harrison project. The company records list 190 completed projects since 2012 for 73 brands and businesses, led by Firehouse Subs (29), Sonic (15), Yes Way (13), 7-Eleven (11) and Five Guys (11), in 92 cities across 8 states.
