I would be elated to work with Mr Harrison on future projects as I only expect successful and positive outcomes in large part to the direction and effort that Mr. Harrison brings to the project team.
What this type of project asks for
Storefront and signage
The storefront system, the sign band and the landlord’s sign criteria are often long-lead and need approval early.
Fixtures and lighting
Fixture plans from the brand set the electrical layout; lighting levels and finishes are coordinated with the brand’s standards.
Landlord requirements
Lease exhibits set delivery condition, hours of work, approvals and what the landlord builds. We read them with you before pricing.
Opening date
Retail openings are tied to seasons and marketing. The schedule works backward from the opening date, with the long-lead items first.

How we build it
Why owners choose Harrison for retail & convenience
Restaurants, finish-outs and medical offices, built here
Founded in Fort Worth by Lonnie Harrison, who has more than 25 years in construction. 190 completed projects on record in 8 states, for Firehouse Subs, Sonic, Five Guys, Taco Cabana, Starbucks, El Pollo Loco and 7-Eleven, among 73 brands.
Licensed in Texas and 29 other states
What a landlord, a lender and a franchise brand ask for first, with a ground-up division and a finish-out team under one roof.
Meetings, reports, changes priced first
Regular progress meetings and electronic project reports from the site visit to the punch list. A change is priced and approved before it is built.
Do you build retail stores?
Yes. Retail tenant improvements, store remodels and retail pad buildings are part of our work: Clifton’s Furniture in Durant, Oklahoma, Dollar Tree in Benbrook, Sleep Experts in Plano, Pacific Pools in Fort Worth and Crossroads Resale in Dallas are on record.
Do you do retail tenant improvements for landlords?
Yes. Landlords whose tenants need space built out, and landlords preparing a vacant suite, are among the clients we work with.
Can you remodel a store that stays open?
Often, with phasing and work scheduled around operating hours; it depends on the scope. We plan it with you before pricing.
Do you build strip-center and pad-site retail?
Yes. Finish-outs in strip centers and freestanding pad buildings are both part of our work.
Are you bonded and insured?
Yes. Harrison Construction is fully bonded and insured.
