About this project
The photo shows a freestanding Starbucks: the dark storefront framing and tan panels of the brand’s store design, the drive-thru directional sign, a covered patio with railing and the store’s signage, photographed under a clear sky.
Three Starbucks projects are on record: a 931 sq ft finish-out on West Airport Freeway in Irving, and remodels of 2,200 sq ft in Early and 1,980 sq ft on Teasley Lane in Denton. A drive-thru store is built around the lane: the stacking, the window, the order point and the building are permitted and sequenced together, and a remodel keeps the lane open while the store changes.
Harrison builds restaurants & qsr projects as tenant finish-outs, freestanding buildings and remodels, with pre-construction first. More about restaurants & qsr construction.
What a build like this involves
- Site work: the drive-thru lane, stacking, the pad, utilities, paving and the patio
- Foundation, structure and envelope with the brand’s storefront and canopy details
- The interior: bar and kitchen rough-in, equipment, finishes, restrooms and seating
- The drive-thru window, order point, menu boards, signage and exterior lighting
- Permits with the city, the health authority review and the final inspections

Licensed in Texas and 29 other states
What a landlord, a lender and a franchise brand ask for first, with a ground-up division and a finish-out team under one roof.
Meetings, reports, changes priced first
Regular progress meetings and electronic project reports from the site visit to the punch list. A change is priced and approved before it is built.
